“In today’s world of online shopping with very little customer service, I’m sure many of us can relate with trying to solve a problem in our homes but needing the advice of a Professional.
I recently had to replace my hot water heater and pressure regulator in my home and went through the exercise of online research and calling several local plumbers to get quotes. After having a few terse conversations with local plumbers that I felt were only concerned with making a quick buck, I was pleased to find Dale Anderson with Waterheaters Plus.
Dale responded to my request for quote with a phone call and was very polite and professional. I did not feel hurried and he answered all my questions as I tried to understand what was involved in the replacing of my hot water heater and regulator.
After getting off the phone with Dale, I actually tested my regulator using a gauge I had and found that yes, my pressure was very high, and my regulator was not working. Dale spent almost a half an hour with me texting back and forth helping me to troubleshoot the regulator. And did I mention all of this was on Memorial Day? …..
We Install Water Treatment Systems such as Reverse Osmosis in Vista Because Your Drinking Water Quality is Especially Important for Health
Vista, Bonsall, Fallbrook, Oceanside and Temecula water sources are tested and meet current EPA and state standards. However, because of the health problems associated with emerging contaminants such as PFAS chemicals, those quality standards are not high enough. Read the latest about PFAS in our local water supplies here.
Only a few of the thousands of “emerging contaminates” such as cancer-linked PFAS chemicals can currently be tested for in water supplies. And the few that can be tested for are not routinely included in any water company’s yearly Consumer Confidence Reports.
Scientists Call PFAS “Forever Chemicals” – Linked to Cancer
Scientists call them “forever chemicals” because they never break down in the environment or in our bodies. In fact, they continue to accumulate with each exposure.
Test Results for Two PFAS Chemicals in Vista Water
PFOA and PFOS are two of the more than 7,800 PFAS chemicals that science can test for in the municipal water supplies. As you can see below, Vista water contained .02 of PFOA and .04 of PFOS in EPA mandated monitoring from 2013 through 2015 which is not considered unsafe according to the EPA. (Below are the dates and water sources tested during the EPA’s mandated testing period.) However, there are still more than 7,800 PFAS chemicals that cannot yet be tested or monitored.
