Clogged drains or sewer line? You’re not alone. We get many ‘crisis’ calls from customers who have clogged drains and sewer lines.
Usually it’s a quick fix. We’ll snake out your drain and get your toilet, shower or sink back in working order in no time.
But sometimes a backed up shower or sink is a symptom of more serious problems. For example, you may have a clogged sewer line. If snaking out the line doesn’t resolve it, we can inspect the sewer line to determine the cause using a specialized camera. For the most serious backups, we use a hydrojet to clean out the sewer line.
Pipes of any kind can develop breaks and leaks. Sewer line cracks can be caused by tree roots or aging pipes. Whatever the cause, we will pinpoint it and fix it.

Causes of Main Sewer Line Backups
Sewer backups and smells can be caused by a variety of issues.
Main sewer lines get backed up for the same reasons drains get clogged. Hair goes down the drain from showers. Grease goes down the drain in kitchens. Any number of starches from potatoes, rice and other bits of particles get congealed inside the sewage line. Tree roots, seeking out water and nutrients can infiltrate cracks within sewer lines and cause backups. Read more about tree root problems for sewer lines here.
They all build up in the pipe over time. The result is never pleasant. Read more about the newest cause of drain and sewer backups here.
Toilets overflow and can even cause raw sewage to come out of sinks, showers and tubs. When that happens, it’s more than a mess – it’s a health issue.
You can help prevent that problem by not allowing cooking oil to go down your kitchen sink and being cautious about what goes into your garbage disposal. Here’s more on how certain food put in garbage disposals can lead to drain clogs and sew line backups.

Some Problems Caused by Improperly Installed Toilets & Fixtures
Other problems, like sewage smells in your home might come from improperly installed fixtures.

Toilets expertly installed and unclogged.
We’re experts at installing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, tubs and anything that connects to your sewer line. We’re also experts at fixing improperly installed fixtures.
Every fixture needs a vent pipe and trap. Vents allow sewer gas to safely vent out of the house. Traps provide seals preventing sewer gas from coming out of a fixture that is connected to sewer pipeline. These vents and traps may have been improperly installed or need to be cleaned out. Other times the problem smells emit from the sewer line itself.
